Glen Campell
Wichita Lineman was one of the first albums I bought as a kid, even though I listened mainly to rock & roll. Back then, the lines were more blured for the different genres of music because the radio stations played everthing side-by-side. Country Pop was okay in my book and especially this great LP by Glen. He was such a great interpreter of Jimmy Webb's songs, and he even made other writer's songs sound like they were written for him. I played the hell out of that album and never replaced it until recently. It still sounds as good as ever and is Glen's best work as far as I'm concerned.
