The Reeling Stones first got together christmas 2005, originally Karl, Tom, Luke & Dave (and the accordion), and after a cracking first gig at the centenery hall, Peel under the last minute name 'The Reeling Stones' (cheers Dave!) they thought it kinda worked and they stuck together - recruiting Caz a few months later on whistles, and vocals. The Reeling Stones are: Tom Callister - Fiddle Luke Melvin - Bodhran, Cajon, Percussion Caz Dougherty - Whistles and Vocals Matt Kelly - Guitar Our influences include everything! King Chiaullee are certainly a major influence on us (and have been lucky enough to become great friends with them :D), Seth Lakeman, PEDDYR (the god who we've nicked a couple of tunes from - we hope we do them justice!) and for Tom, Xose Liz! We all listen to bands such as Lunasa, Teada, Flook, and Grada. We have other influences from all genres like Rock, Jazz and Acoustic.
