BIO:

Jacob McCauley is an award-winning Bodhran player (Toronto Fleadh Music Competition, March 2008 and Detroit Midwest Fleadh May 2008, 2009), is an active member in Celtic bands such as “Fig For A Kiss” and “WhirlyGig”, and is also an active session player. He has shared the stage with Celtic bands such as the award-winning Scottish band “Lau”, the "Chieftains", Chicago-based duo “Bohola” and Toronto-based “Sproai”. Jacob is also an experienced Bodhran instructor, and is a member of the faculty at the Riverside Celtic College, giving workshops as well as teaching privately. He is currently in production of his first Bodhran Instructional DVD, as well as an album with guitarist Santiago Dobles & bass player Alan Goldstein of progressive Metal band"Aghora".
