Not the biggest, but definitely one of the favourite early season festivals for festivaliers, musicians and dancers alike. Now renamed The Porthcawl Interceltic Festival, the 2011 festival, the 10th, will have concerts with international celtic artists, sessions, ceilidhs, sessions, more sessions, late night extras, twmpaths, troyls, fest noz, sessions, ceilis, a great Parade of the Celts in the town centre and more sessions. Friday 7pm til Monday 4am!! Weekend, day, afternoon or evening tickets available; inexpensive quality self catering accommodation from £15 each per weekend if 8 share; also budget hotel deals with late night extra sessions!

CWLWM CELTAIDD - The Celtic Festival of Wales

SPONSORED BY FELINFOEL BREWERY'S DOUBLE DRAGON, a great festival of Celtic music, song & dance from the Celtic countries, featuring a mix of everything from well established international headliners to up and coming showcasers of a surpisingly high standard. This festival is not one of the biggest you'll go to, with a new indoor mainstage for up to 1000 and a 2nd stage ideal for an intimate concert, but with plenty of room for a late night fest noz!

New Venues

The Grand Pavilion Theatre on Porthcawl's seafront esplanade will host this year's festival - and hopefully every festival from now on!
Situated in a prime seafront position, only 100 metres from the town centre and opposite the beachfront, you can't get a better venue than this.
Also a new venue this year is The Brentwood Hotel, which will be hosting some workshops, lunchime & evening food'nfolk events AND definitely not least of all The Late Night Extra sessions.

All DayTickets, Half Day Tickets & even some free fringe events also available.
Accommodation in luxury centrally heated mobile homes(sleep up to 8) available in nearby Trecco Bay Holiday Park at only £120 all-in for 3 nights!!! Plus free shuttle bus to and from main venue.
