Hi,,
I'm new to this forum thingy.
I live in Chapelton, a small village in South Lanarkshire, and I run an acoustic music session in the pub every Wednesday evening, from about 8:30pm onwards. We have all types of music, the only stipulation is it must be acoustic. It's just a matter of bringing along your weapon of choice, sitting in, and playing.
We are also well on in the planning stages for an Acoustic Music Festival in Chapelton, next June (2011), with two headline acts already confirmed. We have two venues available - the pub, and the Community Hall. I am looking for a couple more acts for the pub, which can take about 50 approx. in the lounge. Two/three piece acts would be best, length of gig about 25 - 30 mins.
If there is anybody out there interested in playing at the festival, I would appreciate the opportunity to come along and listen to you.
Hope to hear from someone, soon,
Thanks,
B

Hi Balto
Playing at the festival sounds good to me. Have a wee look at my website www.andrewgordon.co.uk and let me know what you think
All the best
