The origin of the Celtic Tree Calendar has been lost in the mist of time or perhaps even been recreated in more recent times. Consisting of 13 periods each represented by a tree readers may be interested to view some images of Green Man Tree Faces created by a Cornish visual artist Venessa Lagrand based in Rame, Penryn see www.artmajeur.com/ceramicalagrand
Green Man Tree Face Vine, Ash and Oak can also be found by searching on Google images using the full name.

Venessa also painted a ceramic tile panel called "Symbols of Cornwall" an iconic image of a Cornish chough sitting on a Celtic Cross with an Atlantic coast scenic background.

Lets wish that more artists will be inspired by Celtic culture and history and more important for those artists that their work will not only be admired but bought by those who appreciate their contribution to their Celtic heritage.
